IBM watsonx Orchestrate
From AI experimentation to AI at scale - coordinated, governed, and delivering results.
One place to run your agent ecosystem
As agent use grows, fragmentation follows – different tools, different frameworks, different teams building independently. watsonx Orchestrate brings the entire agent ecosystem into a single control plane: coordinating agents, tools, workflows, and foundation models across the enterprise, routing work to the right agent in real time, and providing the observability needed to see what is happening and intervene when needed.

Build agents without limits or lock-in
Teams build AI differently. watsonx Orchestrate supports the full spectrum from no-code visual builders and templates to pro-code development using Python, APIs, and open-source frameworks including LangGraph. Agents built outside Orchestrate can be imported and run through the same control plane, so existing investments are not abandoned and new capabilities are not siloed. Data feeding those agents is managed through watsonx.data integration.
Deploy faster with ready-made agents
Not every agent needs to be built from scratch. watsonx Orchestrate provides a governed catalogue of prebuilt IBM and partner agents – covering customer service, sales, HR, finance, and procurement – that can be deployed as-is or adapted as starting points. Role-based access controls and lifecycle management ensure agents move from experimentation to production through a controlled, auditable process.
Scale AI with confidence, not risk
Scaling AI without governance creates risk. watsonx Orchestrate has policy enforcement, observability, and compliance built into the control plane, not added on afterwards. This connects directly to watsonx.governance for enterprise-level AI risk and compliance, ensuring that agents operating at scale remain within the boundaries the business has defined.
